Discover two of northern Poland’s most beautiful coastal nature reserves on this two-day private wildlife experience, combining the forests and wetlands of Gdańsk’s Ptasi Raj with the wild dunes and beaches of the Mewia Łacha Nature Reserve.
Together, these two tours offer a fantastic introduction to the diverse coastal habitats around Gdańsk, from sheltered wetlands and woodland to windswept dunes and open Baltic shores.
This package is offered at a discounted price for guests who would like to experience both reserves. The two tours can be taken on consecutive days, or you can spread them out with a few days in between, making it easy to fit around the rest of your stay in Gdańsk.
The package includes two private guided wildlife tours, but does not include accommodation or transport to and from the reserves. If you need help arranging either, we're happy to offer advice and recommendations to help you plan your trip.
Tour Details:
Day 1 – Ptasi Raj: Forest Trails & Wetland Wonders
Explore the peaceful forests, wetlands and coastal habitats of Ptasi Raj, where birdwatching meets the chance to spot mammals, amphibians and other wildlife. The 4-hour guided walk is suitable for all ages and fitness levels, with plenty of opportunities to enjoy the scenery, learn about the local ecosystem and explore the amber-speckled Baltic coastline.
Day 2 – Mewia Łacha: Seals, Dunes & Seabirds
Venture further into the wild on a 5-hour adventure through the western side of Mewia Łacha, a vital refuge for breeding and migratory seabirds. Follow quiet pine forest trails and shifting sandy dunes towards the Vistula Spit viewpoint, where coastal birds and, with a little luck, grey seals can often be spotted resting on distant sandbanks. The sandy and uneven terrain requires moderate fitness, but the spectacular landscape and wildlife make the effort well worthwhile.
